Elizabeth

My mom and dad will probably freak out...LOL But I love it.

I have a lot to update on, however, I HAD to update about my lastest appointment. You see...I went in to have my hair colored pretty much the same two colors I have been using (for the past two times---a pinkish red and a purplish red). Only, this time, I wanted more of it and all over, not just the top layers. Well, my stylist thought if she bleached just a little of it and added a purple color over it, it'd darken the bright, bright pink and have a purplish tint on the bleached area (mainly because she doesn't bleach my hair to white or even blonde, but more of a carmelish color). However, quess what I got? PURPLE hair. Some of you know how long I have wanted purple hair. Sidenote: I tried it once, and it was very pale and faded quickly. So I (we) are praying this lasts a long, long time (5-6 weeks). I LOVE it. I told Stephen all I needed now was to 'rock out'. LOL. It is brighter in some spots, but has a purplish tint all over...in the darker places of my hair, it looks almost black until you get in the light. Trevor also got his hair colored...a tealish blue...VERY COOL..just not as cool as purple. LOL.

Here are a few pics. They probably don't do the color totaly justice but that's okay...you'll get the idea. Oh and remember. I don't have on makeup so...take that into account.

Daniel, Yep those flowers (not even going to try to spell it since I can't see your spelling from here) are purple. And yes, my normal colors are red and ginger or carmel colors....though as I said to Cathy above, I've done all colors. I LOVE the purple though. Stephen says it 'fits me'.
Um, yeah, a little too much to drink there. LOL. But I totally enjoyed the story.
No upsmanship....just different reasons for doing things...I've had a very bright pink in my hair for a while, it fades to a beautiful auburn color in my dark hair, but I change it around every few months...I was even blonde at one point. I just like expressing myself creatively and my hair color allows me to do that...:-)
So...how are things with you? Is it cool there? What cha been up to? Stephen says hello...he is busy with youth stuff...ttyl,

LOL--I've been dying my hair for many y ears now--I've had pretty much all colors--red, bright crayon red, pinkish red, purplish red, christmas colors (christmas green, red and carmel) etc. It's always fun and just another way I creatively express myself. I have wanted purple for quite some time, so I'm pretty thrilled. Glad you understand,.
How are you doing? How is the family?

"VERY COOL!" I once knew a girl growing up that was constantly dying her hair, sometimes her hair would turn out a just beautiful pink and other times she would get to crazy and her hair would turn out an terrible green, her mom would tell her she would get brain damage from dying her hair to much, we would just laugh.

That is too kewl - purple is a very mysterious colour as when I think of purple, it's an incredibly appealing colour and that of some of the nicest flowers also : (I suck on botanical knowledge) but aren't chrysanthemums purple? That's a very new age look for you, and one which I reckon suits you nicely, isn't your normal shade of hair red or ginger? I think it would look cool to allow a little regrowth come through, but I'm waffling on a bit, still....

...I once had the idea of dying a goatee beard I once had, red, while colouring the moustache ontop black - the two colours of my local province of Canterbury, that was before realizing it was a silly idea, so I thought of dying the hair on one arm black and the other red, but that was worse. When I changed my thoughts to the legs, that's when I discovered I'd had too much to drink that evening while on the verge of doing it...

...anyway, Stephen gets a tattoo done and it looks great, you dye your hair a colour which suits you nicely, it seems like you guys are almost in a competition of cosmetic one upsmanship - though I like both your styles, what's to be done after this?
