What we are doing.

Stephen's mom is in the hospital. She had surgery to remove a tumor on her kidney on MOnday. We spent all day Monday at the hospital and then I stayed the night. I've been there most of the day and every night since. Today I was so exhausted that I am spending a night at home..before starting over again.. She has had many problems. The latest is now she has a distended bowel and a kidney stone. If she doesn't pass the kidney stone tonight, they'll go in tomorrow with a stint. At present, they are planning on keeping her til Monday. We'll be there each day and I'll stay the nights again as well. So..if we aren't here much, that is the reason.

Also next week (30th) we'll celebrate our 26th anniversary. My parents will be keeping the boys so we have a little free time to ourselves. That is..if Mom (Stephen's) does okay and is able to leave the hospital Monday. She will be staying with Stephen's sister for a month.

FAith, thanks as well. Mom (Stephen's) is at my sister in laws house now and seems to be doing good. I am trying to get a little rest before traveling to my parent's house tomorrow and Stephen is with our middle son at a dr. appt seeing if his broken wrist has healed yet.
I'll update when I can.

my thoughts are with you and yours. my father had a stint put into his kidney around a month ago, a tumor had blocked it completely. i hope all goes well, both with your family and with your anniversary. congratulations by the way!!!
