Hi Kathy, how have you been?I took my dogs each to the park yesterday and today
they needed to be brushed really bad, they were so full of hair. The chow germane Sheppard mix was so full of loose hair but I finely got that under control and the other dog oooooooooh my gosh.I took a bag to put the loose hair in it but then it got windy and his hair flew over the park.My son is going to be on this side of town tomorrow and is going to visit.Tom will bring my grandsons to see their grandmother. The visit will be nice.
Kathy can I ask you something? Is your skin sensitive since E?Mine sure is,it is terrible when my husband tries affection by rubbing agents my arm and I cringed.I am mostly sensitive on my lower back or when someone lightly pats me on the back it hurts me,my husband thinks that I am over exaggerating. My scalp is so very tender as well.
Kathy, Did you realize that you sent me two messages that were meant for Kathy Repko and Ingred by mistake.I was doing the same thing when I first started to write messages on Suvivors. What you could do is click on the picture of the person you want to send a message to on members and that should go right to the person you were meaning to send it to.
Did you say Candy Corn,"yummmmm"also a favorite of mine. My husbands family just loves dark chocolate, but I never acquired a taste for it ,I have alway's found white chocolate to be much sweeter.I recall when I was small and in school that I would put candy on my desk when it was time to take a nap and snack on it while everyone was asleep.
Sounds likeyou had a very nice time visiting with your daughter. The Carolinas are beautiful. I am going to Asheville with my daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter for Thanksgiving. I am looking forward to it immensely....can antique shop. Also, I am an animal lover and just took over ownership of a young tabby cat that was roaming the streets. A young girl came back later that day & said she belolnged to him. The cat was sleeping & hiding out somewhere so she said she'd be back but never did return. Guess she wasn't all that attached. Been sleeping a lot, taking naps nearly every day but looking forward to planting spring bulbs tomorrow since the rain has finally stopped and the ground will be easier to work with since it will be softer to dig. Funny that you mentioned ince cream as one of your fav foods; I luv my ice cream...just had vanilla bean w/brownie. Too much on the stomach and, with Halloween, I've been enjoying the candy corn.
Hello,I have been catching up with jet lag so I have been sleeping a lot.I had a wonderful vacation at my daughters house.Katie my daughter lives in Fayetteville North Carolina and it is just beautiful. Fayetteville is a sleepy town set in the mountains so there is a small forest right behind her house,we would take long walks most of the time trough the forest and around her neighbor hood and sit in her house oh just doing stuff and talking. Katie has this female pure bread Germaine Sheppard, it is beautiful and so sweet and me being an animal lover(to a point) we got along well.Katie said that when I left the dog whined and walked around like she was lost. The whole month I ate junk food, John my husband is such a healthy eater and if I had my way ice cream would be a staple in my freezer,ha ha ha.
I like my apt although I miss all the room of country living. The cool weather is finely here in Arizona,I am just in time for it as the summers are pretty hot and getting hotter it seems.

Hi,Faith. Yes, I'm feeling much better. I read about your dust storm and hope that you weathered it well. We are having cooler weather with rains nearly the past couple of days with light wind. Am thinking of adopting a rescue pug w/disabilities. Have adopted a small tabby wondering my street but a young girl came to claim it but it was asleep & hiding somewhere. She is to come back.
Hi Kathy, How are things going?
Thanks for your comment about my pics. I am a true animal lover. I understand the need for some to kill for food, but not just for the fun of it.
What have you been up to lately?
Hi Kathy,
how go things in your neck of the woods?? i am ok at the moment. trying to get out of the house for a little walk at least every second day. i have gone back to dropping things and spilling things a lot of late, and the dizziness has been crazy... but these things dont get me down like they used to. it is planting time here, so we are busy putting all the veggies in for the summer season. i love gardening too. just bought the family 5 little chinese silkie chicks, the kids love them, and i like to sit in the garden and watch them try to act like chickens...they are soooo cute! it is a really nice way to calm down and relax and remember that it may not be me that is out of place, (and out of pace) but the rest of the world!! after all, my chickens, my dogs and my cats see absolutely nothing wrong with me!!!!
cheers,
faith
Yes I know about isolation as well but I have also created my isolation because I find that people don't understand and I don't understand peoples misunderstandings about why I am like I am and why I don't do things like them. I tend to forget a lot and I get their frustrations with me, I can put the shoe on the other foot and see things trough their eyes and don't understand why they don't.But in the same breath I know that I don't do things and realize things like they do,If that makes any
sence.
I am trying really hard not to freak out over our move comming up. I t is another drastic move, where it will be moving to a much smaller apt. The apt is in a huge apartment complex, and I don't do to good being that closed in, I am use to alot of room. Can't I have a lot more time to adapt. You know how you have always heard that when you get older it gets harder to adapt "well its true"
Kathy thier is a way that when you e mail me olny I can read it and not the whole network, I think that I will try to do that the next time I write to you,ok
Hello , Gee what a gorgeous morning here in Phoenix, it is rainy and overcast. I suppose the weather is different when it is hot and sunny all day all the time you can appreciate it when it is overcast .We are going trough our rainy season.
Photo buzz is a bit.... , I think it is another avenue to say hi.
My husband and I are looking for another place to live, "ugh"
It is coming at a strange time, I am about to go on vacation to visit my daughter in Spring Lakes North Carolina come September and we have another month on our lease, but the land lord is going to let us out of the lease before hand if needed.
Life's changes, you eathier go with the flow or the flow runs you down so make it as stress less as possible.
Hello Kathy, would it be to much to ask how old you are and when did you have e and how long it took you to function as best you could? I ask this because you appear to me to be young from your words and time has played a role in " recovery " for me . I am 50 years old and I know that time has not come to easy for me and I wonder about your progress and how "well I am doing"
mind you this would be a great time to exaggerate but I wish you would be completely honest
Kathy you mentioned the sensitivity to light. I must admit that trough the years this has gotten much better, the first few years after getting out of the hospital I was very light sensitive, or the head aches and muscle tension in my neck and shoulders. I think if it was not for my father taking me off all the medican that I was on and some of them were very harsh that I would not be as cognoscente as I am (gee this word spell is fantastic)Some times I think that the medican creates more of a problem then their is.There are day's where I am very sensitive to light tough.
