With us having to look for a job just to survive, keep our house, etc. we are both pretty depressed and despondent. All the movement..etc is really taken its toil on Stephen. Life is pretty tough at the moment...but we continue to have faith, pray and trust God.
Stephen started it...but it took a lot of time and energy..and there was none left for anything else..so he is able to get on much..so I am on, updaiting, changing things etc, more than him. Daniel keeps things going..discussion, etc really well and we are grateful to him for that.
Hey,
Very cool. Stephen and I met in college (our freshman year). He went home and broke up with his girlfriend..it took me a little longer LOL. We dated all through college and married after we graduated. We've been married 26 years..almost as long as you and John :-)
Hi Cathy.
How did you and John meet? How long have y'all been married?
The damage from 'e' can and does affect different parts of the brain...so each person would be affected a little differently. One thing that remains the same, is that even with improvement, one is never the same after 'e'. I think people just learn to cope in different ways and meds can help to some extent as well.
We are currently seeking employment in hopes that we won't loose our house and can eat...it's been a very trying time esp since Stephen was a youth pastor and churches should be more compassionate and understanding. sigh
I don't think the swan is a state bird anywhere, but i know that they are on the 'watch list' for a lof of states.. The one I took a pic of was at a college..so it's pretty protected.
How are things going with you?
Heya CR,
Nice to hear from you, how are you doing right now? Haven't heard from you lately, everything alright? Gosh, I tell ya, I've completely lost the ability to oversleep and, right now, it's 6:45am and I'm wide awake. I'll pay for this later on when I hit the wall and conk out but, right now, WIDE AWAKE
CR Sorry you didn't have any trick or treaters. It is always fun to answer the door with the little ones dressed up. I didn't gt to doit this year though. M husband did it as I was traveling ALOT! Three states in four days. My brother passed away unexpectantly. He was only 45 years old and he had a heart attack. I will dearly miss him but I did get to see my Dad and Sis and other Bro, which was nice. Just a horrible reason to get together. We was raised very close.

The picture is from Tetra Mountains in southern Poland. This location is near the Ukraine (near Russia). All of my grandparents were born in Poland. My brother was assigned there for his job and I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to visit. It is a beautiful country!
I just got a temporary job with UPS for the holiday season. I think I'm approved to return to school for medical coding. When I was laid off I was classified as a "displaced worker" because I was employed in the business printing industry. It's unlikely that I will be re-employed in that industry. I'm not sure if I told you that my wife has been fired from her job at the post office, so we will soon have no medical insurance. When I contracted encephalitis two years ago I was told my life would change. I had no idea it would change so much.......... See you soon! John
Hey CR,
Has the weather gave u a break yet? I sure do understand about being tired of the heat and wanting a break from it, it does play havic on the skin.
You talked about getting candy as a kid, sure brought back memories for me. I remember almost the same thing. The price of candy has sure went up since then.
Are you feeling more settled in at your apartment? Hope your time is being filled with wonderful things.
Just thought I'd add a more personalized gift : what's in the box is a complete mystery because not knowing is often the best part. Maybe at Christmas I'll send something which would normally be in the box as an online picture present.
No, I don't live on a farm...wish I did. My parents do and raise all kinds of animals. There are many farms near us and thus I get to see the horses I love so much.
I'm doing alright. I've been job-hunting since April. I worry about my medical insurance. I'm supposed to be finding out about learning medical coding. My wife got fired from her job, so I might be losing my house soon. (Wish the market was better.) I wish I had some good news. I'm due for my luck to change. Hope to hear from you soon. John
Been alot of places in my life. West Coast to East Coast. I was born and raised in Iowa and my Dad and Sister are still there. I go and visit them as much as possible. But...life is life and the bills keep coming so I don't get to see them as much as I would like too.
I lived in California for 10 years so I know just what you are talking about. Sometimes the heat was miserable. At least here in Missouri you get a nice mix of all the seasons.
Just checking in with you. It is getting cold here in Missouri allready. The weather is much colder than it is normally and I am not prepared for sure.. Went today and got a space heater for my daughters room as it is the furthest from the heater and always seems to stay cold. Hope all is well with you.
