WELCOME 2 Our World of Recovery and Restoration!

A local news channel here in Ottawa came into our Clubhouse Work Centre which is a part of the brain injury association here in Ottawa, to film members and show how invisible and different per person an ABI can be and here is part of the news story that aired.

Hey Daniel, THANK YOU. I was so nervous & scared when I got told we were going to be filmed on our ABI Awareness day and even more so when I got asked if I would speak about how/what caused my ABI, so I just kept ignoring the camera and thinking about hanging out with friends on a beach, to be able to function and speak lol.

If I may just add in this small question on top of what I wrote below, and now I think of it : I can *appear* largely unnoticably affected by encephalitis - occasionally and under the right, non tension filled moments, and this is, of course, improving - In seeing this video I'm just fascinated by what situations or circumstances there would need to be in order for your lingering symptoms, which *appear* absolutely invisible in this video, to become evident? Being in front of a camera and amongst people, for instance, would end it for me as I'd get nervous and lose the plot as my words would sound noticeably laboured and my train of thought would be evidently distracted, yet online I can type and express myself with, what seems like, a normal degree of expression and clarity of thought - where/when/how would someone be able to tell that you're still in recovery?

(again, *WOW* - I'm stoked for you, and somewhat personally boosted by this video)

Hi Murray,
I assume that's yourself towards the end and *WOW* - encephalitis? What encephalitis? The man I see appears fully healthy! A very encouraging video, thankyou.
